About Henrik

A practical, human approach to better sleep.

I know how exhausting it can be when sleep starts to feel like something you have to work at. The more you try to fix it, the more frustrating and unpredictable it can become.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in understanding what is keeping your insomnia going. CBT-I gives us a proven framework, but treatment is tailored to you—your sleep, your circumstances, and what feels manageable.

I have more than 10 years of clinical experience and specialized training in CBT-I through Stanford University's Sleep Health and Insomnia Program. I'm also a Registered Social Worker and Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Social Work from UBC.

Sleep & CBT-I

Better sleep is possible.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is an evidence-based treatment for chronic insomnia. It goes beyond general sleep advice by addressing the patterns that can keep insomnia going.

Treatment is practical and tailored to your sleep. CBT-I can help with difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, early waking, and anxiety about sleep. It is also a non-medication approach to improving sleep.
